From my sweetie pie because he knew I’ve been feeling so icky lately and wanted to make me smile. He got my mom one too. It’s the little things.

I had a horrible laundry disaster the other day. We were using the laundromat in our building and one of the dryers was broken. As in, it didn’t stop after a half hour as it should. By the time we’d put our bedsheets in there it had already been running for hours. Joel had taken them out and set them down where we were going to fold them. Then we started smelling something. Yes, our sheets were burning from the inside of the pile outward — thats how hot they were. It smelled horrible and there was smoke everywhere. And of course, we had to trash them. Supposedly there was a note on the dryer warning people (and the dryer was unplugged) but some crazy person not only used it anyway, but tore the note off and left it plugged in. What’s wrong with people? Oy.

Well, the movie binge continues (as I’ve got alot of catching up to do), so I’m off to rest some.

I spent all of last night glued to the tv. Watched Crash (finally). It was great in a Memento type of way, with the plot twists and things. I also saw March of the Penquins which was adorable, and Red Eye which I like even though it was kinda short. Of course I will continue to be proud of myself, because only a select few know how many movies that I haven’t seen. I had alot more to write about but I was too annoyed at my stupidity.

 I left gm in my cgi-bin (yah, I know) and I screwed my wp up. Which is why there are no lovely snow pictures from before.
