March 4th, 2006: Wishing for Spring


It’s March!

Yes, soon it will be spring, and all breezy and nice. But not cold. Eczema and winter weather are not friends, let me tell ya. Even though its quite cold today, seeing the sun shining so bright made me smile.

And now I can smile more on here because I installed my smilies. I’m pleased. Cross-eyed from staring at pixels, but still very pleased. Thank you Shereena  for the link, and everyone who offered to help. Expect excessive smilie usage while I’m testing. :-P

But yes, back to spring. Lover’s real homies in New Jersey invited us over there to chill this spring/summer, and of course we’re down for it. Some of the other New Jersey folks I know are all like why would you want to come over here, I’m trying to get out!, but going somewhere different and just hanging out with different people is fun, even if it’s just one state away. I went down there for my birthday last year, and I had a crazy good time. I’m just dying to get my permit (yes, still) so I can get some practice while I’m there. The southern part is nothing but long roads and highways anyway.  I’m determined to get it! If only schools in NYC gave driver’s ed courses. Blah.

I’m also going to get to see one of my true blue girlfriends whose coming back to NY this month, and I’ll get to see my niece (her daughter)! Nothing will make you aware of your age like watching a child grow up. One minute I was going to  prenatal appointments with Wendy, and now she’s got a toddler on her hands!

I, however, have a kitty that likes to hide/sleep/lounge wrapped in things

I accidentally work him up. haha.

I accidentally woke him up, haha. 

hehe.

Random, but America’s Next Top Model is started again in March, too. Who’s gonna watch? Anyone? Tyra broke my heart, so I don’t know. Just wanted to throw that out there.

    Awe, the Kitty looks so cute! My cat likes to be wrapped in things too! This is my first time here, I like it. I was disappointed by America’s Next Top Model last year but I’m still gonna watch…it’s addictive…even though I didn’t like the winner they chose at all. Oh & yeah…i can’t wait for spring..i wish it was here now. We shall see if the weather in spring will be good. Have you noticed that for the past 3 yrs the weather has changed so much, to the point it’s like we skip from winter to summer.

    (let me know if you’d like to exchange links, I have a hard time remembering to visit again if I don’t have you in my list.) Take care.

    aw i agree on the winter weather i hate the cold ` but then again i dont like it in the middle of summer when its toooo hot ughs its never PERFECT maybe im a spring lover but then again i hate the rainy muggy ooshy mooshy days ` hah those werent even words , anyawys yeah you get the point CUTEEEEE SMILIESS !! have fun in nj and ny ughs you duno how much begging i have to go through to get promission to go anywhere smhh being 16 suckz !! anyways LINK EXCHANEG !?!?
