March 10th, 2006: She cooks!


Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t cook — no, I can’t cook.  With the exception of eggs. If you want eggs I will hook you up, but everything else I leave up to the culinary arts person of the house. Oh, and I’ve made brownies too, though I don’t remember anyone actually eating it… 

Yesterday though, I got a chance to hang out with the girl friend, where incoherant ramblings and outbursts of laughter ensued (if there’s one person that can match my fast talking and quick change of tangent, its her!)

 It felt good to just chill and have fun, especially when I go through my gemini moods that make me anti-social. We reminisced about our junior highschool days, and then about our highschool days, and everything else under the sun. We were chatting it up so much we kinda-almost messed up the Apple Crumble we made!

The pie was delish!

 It was a little…er, bubbly, but the crust and everything came out perfect. And I am proud. :satisfied: Now if only I could make a whole meal.

    your girlfriend sounds awesome. i love finding people who can cook eggs well! i’m glad you guys had fun. sometimes hanging out with a cool girlfriend can be just the fix!

    I can only cook simple things. I’m no pro at it either. My b/f is a chef, but to be honest he sucks too. LOL. Anyways…it’s good that you got to hang out with your girl-friend. I wish I had more friends up here to do that with now that my b/f left to live in NC. Your apple crumble still looks good. Send me a piece.

    have you seen soul plane?? when you were talking about the pie being crumbly it reminded me of the beef strogonoff(sp?) lol.

    Hey dollface There’s nothing better than having a good friend around to make you feel better lol, that’s why I’m glad that one’s usually a phone call away, even if I can’t see them.

    I think I’m the worlds worst cook. It’s nothing something I enjoy either. I wish I could but not happening!

    Wow, I didn’t know your site was back up… mmmm that food looks good. I’m mighty hungry right now lol this layout is gorgeous too! I can cook.. well. I CAN FOLLOW A RECIPE… but i can’t like make food off of scratch but who cares.. lol.. as long as i got my recipes.. im straight.

    ooh that looks good lol im hungry! it’s always good to have friends around, i enjoy reminiscing with my old friends after not seein’ them for a while which usually tends to happen i get so caught up in work & school i be forgettin’ to live lol but love ya site & ya vector is madd cute!

    I had no idea how to cook either until I met my current boyfriend and we moved in together. I wanted to be able to romance him over a romantic dinner and vice-versa. I have been cooking for almost a year now and I am happy to report that I can make burgers and not burn them. LOL! But now I’m the only one cooking for the boyfriend and me. He never “feels like it” anymore. Men! Go figure!

    That actually looks really really good. I’m a baker. I’m like a cooking idiot savant. If you give me some ingredients I’ll make you happy.
    If you added a scoop of vanilla ice cream or like cinnamon ice cream to that it would be fantastico!

    I wasn’t much of a cooker until I moved out. Now cook dinners/breakfast/lunch and I like experimenting when I have itme. :P

    I’ve never had apple crumble, but if that’s chocolate on it… MMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
