May 4th, 2006: Oh, It’s true.

It’s new and very sexy.

You never quite grasp just how much you can rely on one thing until it’s not there anymore. I won’t lie. I went into withdrawls; for maybe the first week I worked tirelessly trying to delete and back up files, hoping it would bring something back. And then, because things just happen that way with me, my grandma’s 10 year old pc that I was gingerly trying to use to check my mail just conked out on me. The timing was impeccable. Hahh, I sound so traumatized…

 I figure I should recap what I’ve been up to.

» I started jogging. Well, er. attempted to. It’s an on and off kind of thing right now, but I’m determined to stick to it! Starting off is definitely the worst - for me anyway.  I will do it! Everytime I finally get on a steady routine something happens and I stop, just when it was actually giving me extra energy. I will not stop this time. I’ll just keep repeating that to myself, maybe it’ll work!

» Paint Shop Pro X came as a trial on this new computer here and I’m in love with it. A big accomplishment for someone who has been using PSP 7 for years and refused to upgrade. Yeah, I’m reluctant to change. I’m definitely about to buy the full version. Maybe I’ll send a copy to my fellow PSP users, because it’s really that good.

Hmm…I was going to write more and I forgot. Why is it that everytime I’m left to write about anything I draw such a blank? Even in high school I was always the last one done with any in-class writing assignment/test. I promise, I was doing all kinds of things while I was away but looking back it seems so weighed down and cluttered. You’ll find out the rest eventually then.

New layout, by the way. It was an old one I made and couldn’t stand at first, but now it’s pretty OK. It’ll do anyhow. After being detached from the internet for a while I realized I just don’t want to spend as much time as I have been glued to this thing! Which is why I changed things around, because — even with the kinks– it’s going to stay like this for a while.

I felt so bad, too, because I keep saying to myself I should get a section to give something away, but I wanted it to be something that has, at least, the potential of being useful without being generic. Really, I do! Even if it’s just one thing. So I’ll get on that soon, but enough site stuff.

I’m off to bed now, but I can’t wait to get back to all the things I’ve missed! (message boards, livejournal, etc.)

    i feel you so much. once you take a much needed break from the internet you realize living and enjoying life is too valuable to waste your time sitting on the net. it’s not worth it..we only live once. i started doing sit ups…ugh at first i could barely do 30. now im doing more but i get frusterate because i dont see a flatter tummy. jogging is the best work out though. i love the layout and im a fellow psp user *hint hint*

    welcome back!!! oh yes, quite sexy. I love new computers… they way they make you feel. they way they have you believing that nothing bad will ever happen to them and the new-old layout is beautiful too, too cute.

    Hey, you have a pretty site, every is leaving the net theses days and they are logging on less and less. I undrstand that though, summer is on its way, shoot it’s already hear in Florida. I remember when I first moved my laptop got stolen so I was without forever and it’s true what Alexis said you realize what you have been missing since ‘wasting’ your time in front of a computer screen.

    And PSP X? i didn;t even know about that! I must be lost. I’m a huge fan mostly because it PSP7 was the first graphic program that I mastered. I was always reluctant to use Adobe but I had to go with the trend, but I find things come out forthemost part just the same..it’s a matter of skill and talent I guess.

    And exercising sucks..true story. but the best way to do it is to just get it over with. In high school during my last year I would go out to the track durring my free period. I would just walk NOT run or jog just WALK and I would usally walk about 3 sometime even 5 laps. Mind you it wasn’t a huge track but it was nice just walking and it didn’t feel like work…nice page..take care.

    Sure, I’d love to link exchange. I’ll add your link later. And yeah, I know how the exercising bit is. I’ve been exercising at least 5 days a week the past two weeks in order to get back in shape since I let myself slip. It’s hard to do, but usually if you have a friend that can push you to exercise with you, it’s easier.

    i tend to fall easily out of exercise routines. the thing that keeps me going is everytime i make up an excuse, i say “only 5 minutes’ and i go, and usually i’ll stay for a half hour.

    Hooray!!! So excited that you are FINALLY back. And with that new and sexy desktop pc!!

    Starting of jogging is horrid for me too. Or if I push myself too hard, my chest does this weird wheezy thing. LOL Oh well, in the long run though, it’ll be good for us.
