February 21st, 2007: I can’t wait for March.

 I hope every had a grand Valentine’s day, even if you spent it with yourself (not by yourself, that’s depressing.) That’s what I got from Joel. The teddy bear sings and bobs his head.  

An update has been a long time coming, but my heart just wasn’t in it. I guess we all just go through phases where updating isn’t in the equation.

Life has been…wierd. Funny. Sad. But mostly wierd. This month I have been tested by alot of things and still managed to come above it, and though March could be worse for me than February, I think I’ve emotionally and physically been though enough for this month. I could go into detail, but I’ll make things brief:

  • I’ve obtained some source of income, which has whirlwinded me into growing up in ways I hadn’t thought about.
  • I found out I had a brother. And through non other than myspace.
  • I’ve gone through my shopping spree phase and I’m SO over it.
  • I’ve found myself preparing for the day one of my best friends comes back to NY (watch out!)
  • I’ve been in a war with the winter cold, the closer I get to spring the better I’ll feel. (my throat is beyond sore, and my head is killing me)
  • One of my sister’s friends contacted me through this very site, and I appreciate her contacting me even after all this time.

And there’s more. It’s a little overwhelming, but as with alot of things in life, we manage.

-Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly.   1. Every spring (specifically the first month), I start the day by sneezing 4-6 times. Only the first month, only in the morning.
  2. When I was 7 I was helping my mom with some cleaning and found some toys she’d gotten from somewhere and put away for us - she let me keep it. I spent the next 3 years rummaging through her stuff trying to find more toys.
  3. I can move one eye independant of the other - like a chameleon. But I cut that out because it  gave me headaches.
  4. When I was younger I was allergic to milk, apple jollyranchers, hawaiian punch, tomato sauce, yellow rice, red and green apples and fig newtons.
  5. I can tell if you’re cutting an onion from 3-4 rooms away
  6. I can’t keep a plant alive. At all.
  7. I have a fear of choking or people choking around me.
  8. I spin around in my desk chair when i laugh.
  9. I can’t upkeep a paper diary (unless it’s poetry)
  10. Alot of times when people I’m speaking to try to reference to a movie I have no idea what they’re talking about.

    What cute Valentine’s Day goodies! It looks like you had a fabulous day. I’ve never been a big fan of Valentine’s Day whether or not I was dating anyone. You’d think that being married that I would look forward to this particular holiday, but no, it still isn’t all that. I’d rather have Christmas. *lmao*

    And yay, you updated! I’ve missed ya.

    You discovered a brother via Myspace?! I swear that everyone is on Myspace now. *lol* It’s crazy I tell ya. ^^

    It’s so nice to see someone who spent Valentines with loved one.
    I and other people I visited were only bitching about it, heh. I truly have no one in the place I live to celebrate it. :

    i actually spent my vday alone … yeah it was kinda depressing though. lol. oh well it was nothing special i just went to class and work. that’s quite some bit of stuff you went through but the important thing is you overcame it all and learned from it and have grown as a person. kinda dorkish but i’m kinda excited that you tagged me. now i get to spend the next 2.5 hrs at work thinking about 10 facts about myself to share with everyone lol. take care sweetie!
