June 18th, 2007: Happy Birthday To Me!

So that’s it. I’ve done it. I’m 22. And just like any birthday after I turned 18, it didn’t feel not a bit different. Hah, which I think is pretty silly because why would you suddenly change at the strike of twelve? That’s just as bad as New Year’s Resolutions. I’ve had a grand weekend. I feel so loved!  And I guess that’s the point now isn’t it?

So far I’ve received a ton of Victoria Secret body sprays, a bottle of liquor (on friday), and a party - from Josh and Amanda - which was just great fun. I’m about to get one of these from my mother - I can’t wait. Joel won’t tell me what he’s gotten me, and that’s killing me more than anything else. But the day’s not over yet!

Yesterday my friends and I were hoofing it all over the place, and seeing as how I live in a pretty lush area, I had to take the opportunity to take pictures:

I get completely wrapped up in the holidays - hence the new layout. I adore it.

I wish I had more to say than christmas this, christmas that but I can’t help it. I like the happy feelings and togetherness. And so I leave you with a picture of my  tree, and my favorite ornament:

Life is good right now, and there’s a good chance you won’t hear from me again until christmas unless you’re over here.
